Yesterday, due to my specialitization university course I had the opportunity to visit the DHL Post Tower in Bonn and gain firsthand insights into the corporate environment of the DHL Group. Following the visit, we attended a lecture with representatives from various departments, covering topics such as Taxation, Investor Relations, Sustainability Reporting, Corporate Finance and Controlling. It was particularly interesting to see how theoretical concepts from our studies are applied in practice within a leading international company. Many thanks to Dr. Jan Sedemund, LL.M. taxation (USA), for making this experience possible and for sharing valuable practical insights.
