🏔️🚲 21 stages. Over 3,300 km. Mountains, heat, wind, and the relentless demand to get back on the bike the next morning and do it all again. As someone who spends early mornings and long weekends chasing personal bests in road cycling and endurance sports, watching the Tour de France hits differently. Capgemini has been the Official Technology Partner of the Tour de France and the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift since last year, as part of a five-year partnership running through 2029 that brings AI and digital innovation to professional cycling. What strikes me most is not just the technology, but the parallel between what we build and what these athletes live every day: 🔹 Marginal gains matter. Whether it's a rider shaving seconds off a climb or an engineer optimizing a data pipeline, progress is rarely one big leap. It's hundreds of small, deliberate improvements that compound over time. 🔹 Real-time pressure reveals real capability. Just as Capgemini teams deliver AI-powered fan experiences during a live, fast-moving race, endurance sport teaches you that your best thinking often has to happen exactly when things get hardest. 🔹 Limits are starting points, not ceilings. Every rider in that peloton has redefined what their body and mind can do, time and again. That's the same mindset I try to bring to my own training and, honestly, to my work. Seeing my own company show up in a space that reflects so much of what drives me personally, discipline, resilience, and pushing beyond the point where it would be easier to stop, is genuinely motivating. It's a reminder that the same principles that get you up a mountain pass at 6 a.m. also apply to solving hard problems at work. Proud to be part of an organization that's not just talking about innovation, but putting it to work in one of the most demanding endurance sports in the world. #MakeItReal #TourDeFrance #TransformingSports #TDF2026 Bastian Renz l Jan Lammers l Paul Prehl l Ferdinand Schockenhoff l Dominik Johannes Poncette l Josefin Stiel l Anna Nann l Vincent D.
