A fantastic visit to Paris! A huge thank you to Alexandre BROUARD for his hospitality and knowledge. I've spent the week on numerous Grand Paris Metro project sites where Alex has imparted his knowledge and experience. It was great to see BAUER Maschinen GmbH & BAUER MAT Slurry Handling Systems equipment in action — including an MC86 with mechanical grab, MC96 with BC40, BCS 185 units with BC35 & BC48, a BCS 185 with Power Pack HD 1400 and almost a full range of MAT equipment from decanters, flocculant stations, desanding/desilting plants, centrifugal and eccentric screw pumps. Many thanks to the various people on site I've spoke to, despite the language barrier, we've had great conversation. It was a brilliant opportunity to see the scale and complete set up of the equipment firsthand in relation to Dwall.
