A New LX-8 Installation Marks the Start of an Exciting Partnership! We are delighted to announce the successful installation of a new JUKI LX-8 Advanced Flexible Mounter in the demo room of Accelonix UK & Ireland, our new partner in England. This system will serve as a showcase for customers to experience the capabilities of JUKI’s latest placement technology firsthand. This installation represents an important milestone and the beginning of a strong and exciting partnership. By combining JUKI’s innovative automation solutions with Accelonix’s expertise and strong presence in the UK market, we are creating new opportunities to support electronics manufacturers and strengthen our position in the region. The installed LX-8 is configured with two TAKUMI placement heads, each equipped with 8 nozzles, delivering an optimal combination of flexibility, accuracy, and productivity. The machine handles components from 03015 up to 65 × 65 mm (and selected larger component formats), with component heights up to 22 mm. With a placement performance of up to 94,000 CPH, placement accuracy of ±35 μm (Cpk ≥ 1), and a feeder capacity of up to 160 tape feeders and 60 tray positions, the LX-8 is perfectly suited for high-mix, high-volume SMT production environments. The system also supports board sizes up to 810 × 400 mm in double-clamp configuration, providing exceptional flexibility for a wide range of manufacturing requirements.
