✈️ New connection: Ljubljana – Podgorica with Wizz Air Yesterday, we had the pleasure of celebrating Wizz Air’s new connection between Ljubljana and Podgorica and it was a great start, with the very first flight being almost fully booked. For me personally, it is always a pleasure to be on site and join such occasions together with my team. These moments truly reflect what aviation is about: connecting people, regions, and opportunities. We were also pleased to welcome Akos Bus, András Szabó, Salome Khundadze and colleagueas from Wizz Air’s headquarters, a strong sign of Wizz Air’s commitment to Ljubljana Airport and the further development of our partnership. Wizz Air has established itself as one of Europe’s leading value carriers, connecting close to 200 destinations across more than 50 countries and serving over 60 million passengers annually. With a modern and efficient fleet and a continuously expanding network, the airline plays an important role in making air travel more accessible while maintaining strong operational performance.
