Following on from launching our bestselling book 'Gaming for Good', many people have asked what’s next? Well…. Today, with my co-host Mathias Gredal Nørvig, we are unveiling the pilot and explainer for our new podcast ‘Good Game Club’ at 3-Space 2025. It’s an extension to our book and aims to reveal gaming’s hidden and unexpected benefits, shining much-needed light on the positive impact digital play can have on people and the planet. Good Game Club podcast is supported by a strategic partnership with Tencent, with the aim of galvanising and inspiring people with thought-provoking and insightful conversations to help shape a more positive future through the power of games. At 3-Space 2025, ‘Igniting Europe’s Innovation Opportunity,’ we are showcasing a selection of innovative titles and tools that demonstrate the transformative power of play, and how interactive experiences can inspire climate action, empathy, inclusion and positive change. We’re very excited to be launching the podcast series in January 2026, and have some exceptional guests to look forward to each month. These include David Barrie (Founder and CEO of Game Academy); Bastian Bergmann (author of Press Play – Why Every Company Needs A Gaming Strategy); María Sayans (CEO of Ustwo Games, best known for the Monument Valley series of games); Mick Donegan SpecialEffect (Founder and CEO of charity SpecialEffect); Tom Chatfield (tech philosopher and author of Wise Animals and How To Thrive In The Digital Age); and Kirsty Rigden (CEO of FutureLab, developers of PowerWash Simulator).
