JTI’s Executive Vice President and Global CFO, Vassilis Vovos, met with the Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, at Maximos Mansion in Athens last Monday. Joined by the General Manager of JTI Hellas, Janine Neuhaus and the Corporate Affairs & Communications Director, Symeon Sidiropoulos, the discussion focused on JTI’s long-standing presence in Greece, including the investment in SEKAP factory in Xanthi. Vassilis Vovos noted Greece’s positive growth trajectory and the value of stable, predictable, evidence-based policymaking. He also commended the fruitful public-private cooperation to address illicit trade, reaffirming JTI’s commitment to support Law Enforcement Authorities.
