As Singapore approaches a “super-aged” society, bridging generational divides is becoming increasingly important. Through an intergenerational program hosted by FaithActs, we explored how shared experiences can foster meaningful connections between youths and seniors. Divya Vanka Jin Yang Chen Gabriel Tang and I proposed a “Guess the Hawker Food” activity which combined cultural familiarity with digital learning. Our goal was to create a space where seniors could share their culinary wisdom while youths supported them in navigating AI tools. This mutual exchange enables both generations to contribute, learn, and grow together. We are grateful to Professor Lynette Tan for this remarkable experience.
