Constructing tea polyphenol-trimesoyl chloride-induced 3D phenolic ester cross-linked networks into MXene membranes for superior cation separation JMS Editors' Choice Article by Jibin Wei et al. https://lnkd.in/dM3G2J2W This work presents an effective strategy to suppress MXene membrane swelling by constructing a three-dimensional phenolic ester cross-linked network using tea polyphenol and trimesoyl chloride within the membrane interlayers. The resulting membranes exhibit significantly improved mono-/divalent cation selectivity while maintaining structural stability in aqueous environments.
