🔥 A strong Norwegian presence in Japan 🔥 This week, our Senior Vice President, René Christensen, visited Japan – an important market for Jøtul. During his visit, he had the honour of meeting HRH Crown Prince Haakon in connection with the Crown Prince’s official programme in Japan. The visit highlighted how Norwegian companies can succeed in Japan through long-term relationship building, cultural understanding and strong local partnerships. It also created a valuable arena for dialogue around design, craftsmanship, sustainability and international brand building across cultures — and how Norwegian identity can be integrated into a Japanese context. During his stay, René also participated in a dealer meeting with our Japanese importer, Meiku Company Limited, and visited local retailers — strengthening relationships and gaining important market insights.
