One theme that came up repeatedly during this week’s networking calls with commissioning managers was the growing pressure being placed on their teams across the data center market. Everyone is focused on getting projects online as quickly as possible, but the reality is that commissioning programmes are becoming increasingly complex while timelines continue to shrink. The challenge isn’t a lack of projects. It’s having enough experienced people who can manage the process, coordinate stakeholders, troubleshoot issues, and ultimately get facilities handed over successfully. What was interesting is that almost every conversation touched on the same point: commissioning talent is becoming harder to find than ever. As data center development continues to accelerate, the ability to attract and retain experienced commissioning professionals could become one of the biggest differentiators between those who deliver successfully and those who don’t. It’ll be interesting to see how the market responds over the next 12-24 months. #Commissioning #DataCenters #MissionCritical #CriticalFacilities #Engineering #Construction
