It'd be a fair challenge that LinkedIn might not be the platform for this type of content. However, over the past week out on leave, I've been pondering ... not life or anything as drastic as that, but why we work so hard, making sacrifices at some of the most important phases of life (new relationships, marriages, children being born, starting nursery/school, house buying, etc.). Like many others, I find it hard to switch off - whether that be the 3am Lara Croft stealth style exit from bed, back to the study to jot something down, or crafting emails on the weekend when out with friends. A few reflections around how to properly switch off, not just for you, but for those around you. Maybe a bit of irony, maybe a bit of hypocrisy, but whatever it looks like, some practice still to be done!
