English On Wednesday, Argentina and England will face each other once again... Thank God, this time it will be on a football pitch. I was born in the only place on Earth where neither side should ever win. Ever since I can remember, I've been asked the same question: "So... what are you?" I am a Native Antarctican by birth and conviction; Argentine by blood and British through a paradox of international law. They call me SIX. Not because of a number, but because geopolitics made me the sixth human being ever born on the only continent without citizenship. While millions will debate which side they're on, I've spent my entire life trying to explain why I belong to both... and, at the same time, to a third. Because perhaps Antarctica's greatest secret isn't hidden beneath the ice, but in those of us who were born upon it.
