🚀 And finally, we've reached a new starting point. Decades of research, publications, and patents at Instituto ai2 de la UPV have led Jorge Bondia and me to found COLIBRI Biomed, a new spin-off company from Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). ⚙️ Our main motivation is to develop the next generation of closed-loop systems to make managing type 1 diabetes simpler and safer through fully automated and secure technology that seamlessly integrates into patients' lives. 🤝 Thanks to Paolo De Stefanis, Leonardo Molinari, Guido Panfili, and Agnese Denzi from Day One for joining us on this new adventure, and to UPV Innovación, especially Fernando Conesa, RTTP and his entire i2T team, for their support throughout this process.
