I’m excited to lead Mi Pueblo at UNC this year alongside Analise Villanueva. For us, being Co-Presidents isn’t just about planning events, it’s about showing up for our community in tangible, consistent ways. Mi Pueblo was where I first felt seen at UNC. It gave me a place to take pride in who I am and where I come from. We hope our leadership can help others feel that same sense of belonging, support, and purpose. We’re committed to doing work that’s rooted in the needs of our comunidad and that honors our stories, builds collective power, and makes space for both celebration and resistance. There’s so much we’re looking forward to this year, and we can’t wait to get started!
