Hey network! If you have a background in quantum device physics or qubit calibration and are interested in applying that expertise across many types of quantum processors, you may be interested in joining Q-CTRL in the near future. The calibration problem is chronically overlooked when discussing the scaling of quantum systems, and Q-CTRL has made a significant investment on this front. We have both superconducting and semiconducting teams focused on exactly this problem, along with complementary expertise further up the quantum stack that’s ready to take advantage of our well-calibrated gates. Overall, I’d describe the day-to-day work as a nice mix of physics and software challenges that consistently keep us on our toes. If you’re at all interested in learning more, please don’t hesitate to reach out—or share with a friend. https://lnkd.in/gRNsHmPq This and similar roles are based in Santa Monica, California, so unfortunately you’ll have to be ok with looking at the Pacific Ocean on a regular basis 😉 .
