Automotive Strategy & Fixed Operations Leader | 20+ Years in OEM & Dealer Network Performance | Business Intelligence, Sales & Aftersales Insights

The most important Nissan story isn't a new vehicle launch, it's the company's commitment to AI-defined vehicles and software-driven customer experiences. For decades, competitive advantage came from product, pricing, and incentives. Going forward, it may come from software capability, OTA updates, AI-assisted driving, and how effectively dealers integrate technology into the ownership experience. At the same time, Nissan's continued focus on dealer profitability rather than pure volume growth is a positive signal for retail operations. After 20+ years working with dealers, I've learned that technology only matters if it improves the customer experience and helps the retailer make money. AI and software-defined vehicles are exciting, but execution at the dealership level will determine who wins. The next chapter of automotive retail may be won less in the showroom and more in software, service retention, and customer experience. What do you think will create more value over the next five years: better vehicle technology or better dealership execution? Source: https://lnkd.in/gqM-Bp3v
