🚀 Launching Catalyst Research Partners: Bridging Science and Capital After months of research, iteration, and collaboration, I am excited to officially share the launch of Catalyst Research Partners, a company I am co-founding alongside Raphael Genova and Sandra Linares. Catalyst is pioneering a new financial framework to fund early-stage scientific research. From cancer therapies to clean energy to materials discovery, breakthrough innovations often stall due to a lack of long-term, risk-tolerant capital. Our solution is the Research-Backed Obligation (RBO): a structured financial instrument that securitizes portfolios of early-stage research projects. By pooling projects across fields and research phases, and applying the principles of securitization and tranching, we aim to offer institutional investors diversified, risk-adjusted exposure to scientific progress, while providing researchers with access to committed capital from the outset.
