HIVE raises $15 Million Norway-founded HIVE has raised $15 million to expand its Physical AI platform for industrial machines. Led by SuperSeed, with participation from Veriten, Skyfall Ventures and Nysnø Climate Investments. The company is developing what it calls a “silicon brain” that can be retrofitted to equipment such as excavators, wheel loaders, forklifts and haulers, allowing different machines to perceive, decide and operate autonomously across construction sites, quarries, tunnels and industrial facilities. My Take: The important part of this story is HIVE’s machine-agnostic approach. The equipment industry does not need a separate autonomy platform for every brand and machine category. Contractors, rental companies, and industrial operators manage mixed fleets, so a common intelligence layer that can work across multiple equipment types could be extremely valuable. #DigitalIronGroup www.DigitalIronGroup (source: https://lnkd.in/gT42xPBZ)
