Chief People Officer | Transformation | Culture | Private Equity

Human-centred leadership matters most when uncertainty is highest. This was a central theme that I had the pleasure of discussing last week with the team at LACE Partners as part of a podcast on the evolving role of the Chief People Officer. We explored: • Why people strategy and business strategy can no longer sit separately • How younger generations are reshaping expectations of leadership through openness, challenge and authenticity • What human-centred leadership really looks like during periods of uncertainty and change • The realities of integrating businesses whilst protecting culture, trust and employee experience • Why today’s CPO has become both a strategic advisor and, in many ways, the conscience of the organisation The organisations navigating growth and transformation most successfully are the ones that understand culture, leadership and performance are deeply connected and that commercial success and people success are not competing priorities. A huge thank you to Chris Howard, Debbie Mitchell and the wider team at LACE Partners for having me — a genuinely enjoyable and thought-provoking conversation.
