Many retailers only used to notice a potential stock-out after their shelves were already empty and the sale was already lost. One of our learners, a Purchasing Assistant, decided that wasn't good enough. Instead of relying on manual checks that ate up hours every week, they built an automated tool to flag low stock before it became a problem. The result: shelves stayed full, customers found what they came for, and £150,000 in revenue was saved. It's a good reminder that the people closest to the problem often build the sharpest solutions – if they're given the tools and the confidence to try.
