Don’t measure Ashlyn Harris by her gold medals (but she does have a few). These days, the former Olympic and World Cup champion goalkeeper is driven by relationships, purpose, and creativity far more than she is by stacking achievements. Since retiring from the game in 2022 — she played for Gotham FC, Orlando Pride, and the U.S. Women’s National Team — she has served as a creative advisor and joined boards including the Women's Sports Foundation and the Human Rights Campaign, building on her career-long advocacy as an openly queer public figure. She also launched an iHeartRadio podcast, Wide Open with Ashlyn Harris. Now, her new Roku Originals documentary, Gamechangers: The Ashlyn Harris Story, is bringing her story of vulnerability, growth, and advocacy to the screen. She’ll be joining Chief on Wednesday June 17 in honor of Pride Month to discuss what it takes to lead as your full self, and what becomes possible when you do.
