Across the John Lewis Partnership, sustainability has long been at the heart of what we do. We’ve just published our latest Ethics & Sustainability report, with highlights from the year including: ♻️ Progress on packaging: 97.5% of our product packaging is now widely recyclable 👗 A flare for repairs: we launched our repairs and alterations service - with over 1,500 items already fixed - helping customers breathe new life into old garments 👕 Cottoning on to success: we became the first brand to source Physical BCI Cotton from Egypt. This is fully traceable, and grown in a way that improves water management, soil health, and farmer livelihoods 🐑 Wool done: we launched our first ever closed-loop knitwear collection, using 100% reclaimed and repurposed wool. The entire process is UK-based, cutting transport miles and supporting local jobs 🙂 Styles for smiles: in partnership with Look Good, Feel Better, we hosted personalised styling sessions for people living with cancer A huge thanks to all our Partners and customers who’ve made this possible.
