July 12 - Natividade apparitions of Myriam, Immaculate Mother of Jesus, to Sebastian Fausto de Faria (Brazil, 1968, authorized devotion) Mary in Natividate, Brazil (1968): “I am the messenger of faith and love” In Natividade, a town in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Dr. Sebastian Fausto de Faria, an agnostic, testified that he was visited on several occasions between 1967 and 1968 by the Virgin Mary, who gave him three messages for the world. Here is an excerpt from the second message, dated July 12, 1968, concerning the Church: “I am truly Myriam, the Immaculate Mother of Jesus. My primary title is that of Divine Motherhood, the reason for my very existence. I am the messenger of faith and love for a Christianity traumatized by discord, in the midst of a humanity threatened in its spirituality. To the Church of my Son, guardian and primary interpreter of his doctrine, and of which I am also the Mother, I address the following exhortation: May the primacy of the worship of God and of my Son be restored, and may those whose holy lives are a constant source of virtue be invoked. Let the churches and the hierarchy be respected, and let the authority of episcopal decisions be accepted, especially that of the greatest: Peter. Let us be wary of those who undermine faith and discipline within the Church itself!” The diocesan bishop granted the imprimatur to the messages and authorized the construction of a shrine. https://lnkd.in/gKcr9tN9 Hail, Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.
