It’s time for a rethink at Deutsche Bahn! It’s clear the trust in the senior management is lost - Germans have totally lost faith that we will ever have an on time train service. An immediate solution would be to remove all upgrade projects from the current management and hand them over to a competent crisis management team - concentrate resources on priority 1 projects and hold the rest. Just in my own environment Deutsche Bahn has had a project to create an s4 line Hamburg to Bad Odesloe for 5 years - due to end in 2029 - little to no information issued by DB to the local authorities and no one can see any real progress! Berliner Tor - however many years has that project been running - !!! DB has lost control of its sub contractors and money is just pouring down the drain. Deutschen Bahn needs the Wings of it’s management clipping and to demonstrate respect to its owner ie - the people of Germany.
