$523K is the average yearly billings of a Consultant 12+ months into their career at Metric. This number has dramatically increased YoY since we founded back in 2019. I referenced this statistic in an interview earlier this week and the reaction was one of genuine disbelief. And I can half understand why. The industry (LinkedIn specifically) is full of sweeping statements. Everyone has had their best month, quarter, year etc. But ultimately there is no rigor / governance to validate it. So recruiters can understandably feel unsure / fatigued as to who is authentic and who is just making noise. The difference (as I explained during the interview) is that we have just completed a $100M+ PE transaction. Our second PE deal in 20 months. Deals of this nature are subject to a level of due diligence and scrutiny that ultimately test the legitmacy of a business.
