So after 36 years at UCL I had my retirement party. Seeing so many wonderful old colleagues and friends and reading the messages from around the world was very emotional. Enormous thanks to our Dean Alan Thompson and to Steve Moss who had travelled from France for saying some lovely words. Also to key colleagues in my life Sue Lightman, Virginia Calder and Pete Adamson who came to share the moment. Thanks to all the fantastic colleagues from the Institute of Ophthalmology and Institute of Neurology who were there. All this made possible by the hard work of Patric Turowski and Giulia De Rossi who organised this leaving do. I will be eternally grateful. Such great memories were shared. I won't disappear entirely from UCL and will be working full on with Senya Therapeutics - health permitting. Enjoy the cartoons that were decorating the meeting room!! Made me laugh and realise how often I say "Jolly good"!
