After the scepticism that surrounded SNL UK quickly dissipated and British audiences took to The Dyers' Caravan Park with glee, Sky is riding a pleasant entertainment wave. But with The 100 Day Split and the untitled Gemma Collins piece coming down the pipe and a splashy commission in form of "structured documentary" fac-ent landmark The Wargame emerging over the weekend, the pay-TV giant's long-standing unscripted chief Philip Edgar-Jones OBE is in no mood to rest on laurels. In fact, he's got itchy feet for ramping up Sky's ents programming within the wider evolution of its unscripted strategy. He took me through it from - although not specified in the piece - Sky's shiny new offices in Soho. Meant for important talent conversations and discussions rather than a slightly harassed TV trade journalist. But he made me a coffee...so that's something. #Sky #Entertainment #Documentaries #SNLUK #SNL https://lnkd.in/eqwjegyc
