Geopolitics, trade and logistics have never been more interconnected than they are today. For years, trade between Europe and China relied heavily on the Northern Corridor via Russia. Since the outbreak of the Russia–Ukraine conflict, this route has become largely dysfunctional. More recently, disruptions in the Sea of Hormuz, the Red Sea and the Suez Canal have once again highlighted the fragility of the Southern Corridor. As a result, we are witnessing a renewed rise of the Middle Corridor—reviving the ancient Silk Road through the Caucasus and Central Asia. This route offers significant opportunities, but it is not without its challenges. Crossing multiple borders and the Caspian Sea requires expertise, coordination, and strong regional presence. That is exactly where Ahlers Logistics makes the difference. Today, we are proud to announce our strategic alliance with Azurite Logistics, a leading logistics operator in Kazakhstan. By combining our global expertise as multi-modular player with Azurite’s regional strengths, infrastructure, and market access, we are uniquely positioned to support companies: • Trading with the fast-growing Central Asian markets • Moving goods between Europe and Asia - and vice-versa - via the Middle Corridor Together, we are building stronger, more resilient supply chains for the future.
