A childhood dream has come true – today I was appointed Full Professor at Heinrich Heine University of Düsseldorf: https://lnkd.in/e7PDXRgh With this position, I will also become Director of the Institute for Molecular Enzyme Technology (IMET) at Forschungszentrum Jülich. I’m deeply grateful to all my mentors, PIs, colleagues, and collaborators for their support and for helping make this possible. I’m truly excited to build my new lab at Forschungszentrum Jülich and to shape IMET’s next chapter. We are currently recruiting PhD students, postdocs, and a group leader to join the Institute.
