Co-Founder at Altek AI | Building AI that streamlines hotel operations & elevates guest experiences | Also a drummer
San Francisco and Silicon Valley have a special kind of energy. Just being here makes you feel like anything is possible. And I have always believed anything is possible, hence me moving to LA to be a drummer, having no doubt in my mind that I was going to make it happen. Or now, building Altek AI to change how hotels around the world operate. But there's just something special about the density of ambition, knowledge and talent here when it comes to startups, technology and innovation. San Francisco really is for startups and technology what LA is for music and entertainment. Kristoffer Storhaug Pedersen and I have learned so much in the past two weeks, met so many incredible people, and because of this trip, we have become better founders. Thank you to Innovation Norway, Nordic Innovation House - Silicon Valley, Åse Pettersen Bailey, Jon Halvard Bolstad Olsen, Thor Skrindo, Nathan Gold, Eva Nahari, Shomit Ghose, Julie Hanna, Olav Sindre Kriken, Scott Sambucci, Sondre Rasch, Armann Kojic, Dariusz Paczuski and Martina Lauchengco and all the founders and investors we’ve met in the past two weeks. Also, a big thanks to the rest of the cohort. Cognosic, Dorysign, Humble, Optise, RoadSpot, Skriptr, Soolv and Stackby.me, Ulrik Granheim, Kristian Agasøster Haaga, Thomas Ramberg, Ray Thomassen-Ho, Steinn Arnar Kjartansson, Hlynur Rafn Guðmundsson, Andri Geir Arnarson, Hans Kristian Hop, Njal Hansen, Casper Kristoffersen, Preben Andersen, Fredrik Schjoldager, Christina Kjær Seime, Jonas Tjomsland, Madeleine Bjørnestad Røed and Rebecca Koskinen. It's been a pleasure getting to know all of you, learning from you, and I wish you all great success! I was going to make a few more shoutouts but I reached Linkedin's mention limit. Looking forward to what's ahead!
