Global Head of HVDC Project Management | @Siemens Energy | Making Power Grids Future Ready

Real project groundwork happens long before anyone sees the results Yesterday, I visited our Siemens Energy SuedOstLink 2 site together with the TenneT Program Management Constantijn Steinhusen and Malte Engler. In the cold, ❄️short winter days, we watched our colleagues keep the work moving with steady, structured execution. Much of what currently drives this project forward happens quietly: earth work, rebar, formwork, concreting and safety checks — done with thorough, repeatable routines. Thanks to our site manager Siim Kadak Kadak for setting this tone every day and thanks to our partner Firmengruppe Max Bögl who is executing the civil works. Siims leadership around safety and structure directly influences the daily workflow. The shared video captured something essential: Making grid resilience becoming a reality relies not only on big milestones but on consistent effort that often goes unnoticed. For me this is how progress is built — through reliable weekly progress. Keep up the good work: Astrid Keste, Markus Herzog, Benjamin Drebert, Tamara Jobst
