🎊 Happy Global Clinical Engineering Day! 🎊 🔹️Clinical Engineer is “a professional who supports and advances patient care by applying engineering and managerial skills to healthcare technology.” - ACCE 🔸️If you had asked me two years ago what a clinical engineer was, I for sure would not have been able to give a clear cut definition. 🔹️Even now as I finish up my second year as a clinical engineering intern, I'm still learning what it takes to be one but I'm definitely enjoying the process. 🔸️At the core of it though, I think it's about improving a patient's care, safety, and overall well-being through the amazing medical technology being brought into the healthcare field. 🔹️I'm happy I stumbled into the field and get to experience something new everyday. Here's a picture of me fully geared up to enter a decontamination room in SPD with a clipboard and netscout. (We're currently implementing a new instrument tracking system!) ➡️➡️click this link (https://lnkd.in/eis2BA8V) for a video made by ACCE - American College of Clinical Engineering celebrating CE day ⬅️⬅️ I may or may not be in it 😳 #healthcare #engineering #technology #biomedicalengineer #htm #clinicalengineering #iamhtm #medical
