As a student more than 10 years ago, I interned in EY, and chose to come back as an employee. People usually ask me - why did you come back, and what made you stay so long? That’s quite rare in this day and age. This is a story that I always share during interviews and university talks. As an intern, I was sitting beside my senior. A colleague walked past and asked “hey is this your new intern?” My senior stood up, slammed the table (gently) and replied : “this is not my intern, this is my teammate” It’s this culture that made me come back and stay for so long. And today is a good reminder of why we’re doing what we’re doing. A wise leader once said - sometimes it’s as simple as it’s just the right thing to do! Thank you Talentbank for hosting us.
