Yesterday in Florence, during our Capital Markets Day, we engaged into the next chapter of the Kering journey: ReconKering. I am very proud of the work we conducted hand in hand with all the CEOs and management teams of the brands to build those ambitious visions and roadmaps that will enable each of them to reach their true potential. We are building a one-of-a-kind organization that will make us the first luxury group to capture to this extent the benefits of scale, with a high-performance leaner, faster, more integrated model. Among the many objectives, I will highlight two: House of Wonders (HoW) Emerging brands deserve a home that gives them time, operational support, long term orientation, for them to scale without compromise. With House of Wonders, we invent that home, to support emerging Luxury Houses with a distinctive vision, deep authenticity and a strong cultural relevance. Through HoW, we are inventing a new operational model, delivering the platform effects of a large group to emerging brands across the value chain, humbly and without ever compromising their specific DNA. By engaging in this path, Kering is time travelling: fast-tracking the growth of emerging luxury brands, achieving in 5 years what would have taken 10 without this support. We complement our portfolio by addressing new categories, new geographies, new audiences, and new business models. I am particularly proud of my team for getting this operating model off the ground only in a few months and already signing a first partnership with Chinese Luxury House ICICLE , bringing together Icicle's deep understanding of the Chinese luxury ecosystem and cultural landscape with Kering long standing expertise in craftmanship, operations and brand development in Europe. Longevity & Wellness Longevity is becoming luxury’s new frontier, with consumers moving from traditional “outside-in” luxury, based on the projection of external signals / signs, towards an “inside-out” luxury, where balance, wellness and inner alignment become the new worth. With our clients always at the center of our considerations, we aim at addressing this new structural demand shift by bringing together L’Oréal’s expertise in beauty and Kering’s know-how in delivering luxury experiences to seed long-term opportunities in Longevity & Wellness.
