¡Llegamos a las 500.000 descargas de nuestro libro! (Eng Below) Recientemente, fuimos notificados que el libro *Social Change in the Gulf Region* tuvo mas de medio millón de descargas, desde su publicación en 2023. En el mismo, tuve la oportunidad de contribuir con el capítulo “Yemen, the Wound that Still Bleeds in the Gulf and Beyond”, donde analicé el fracaso de la Primavera Árabe en este país, y la posterior internacionalización del conflicto. Sin dudas, agradezco mucho a Md Mizanur Rahman por darme la oportunidad de ser parte de este proyecto, y a Qatar University por poder contribuir desde América Latina – a veces tan lejana de Medio Oriente – al análisis del mundo árabe, que tanto amamos. Pero fundamentalmente, gracias a Dios, quien nos da la oportunidad de ser parte de estos proyectos, sin merecerla. We were recently notified that the book "Social Change in the Gulf Region" has had over half a million downloads since its publication in 2023. I had the opportunity to contribute the chapter "Yemen, the Wound that Still Bleeds in the Gulf and Beyond," where I analyzed the failure of the Arab Spring in that country and the subsequent internationalization of the conflict. I am very grateful to Md Mizanur Rahman for giving me the opportunity to be part of this project, and to Qatar University for allowing me to contribute from Latin America—sometimes so distant from the Middle East—to the analysis of the Arab world, which we love so much. But above all, thanks be to God, who gives us the opportunity to be part of these projects, even though we don't deserve it. Glory to Him. "For I am about to do something new.
