🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Yn ddiweddar, cefais y cyfle arbennig i wylio Hamlet gan y Royal Shakespeare Company yn Stratford-upon-Avon. Roedd y set yn arloesol iawn… yn enwedig y cwch ar ongl a symudai, gan wneud i’r props a’r cast lithro ar draws y llwyfan, gan greu tensiwn. Yn ystod yr act gyntaf, camodd yr isactor i rôl Hamlet oherwydd salwch, ac roedd y perfformiad yn un cofiadwy a grymus. Fel myfyriwr Cyfryngau, roedd yn ysbrydoledig gweld sut gall theatr ddefnyddio symudiad a gweledigaeth i adrodd straeon yn greadigol. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 🇬🇧 I recently had the amazing opportunity to watch the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Hamlet in Stratford-upon-Avon. The set design was incredibly clever… especially the tilted, moving boat, which made props and cast slide across the stage, adding tension and visual drama. Midway through the first act, the understudy stepped in as Hamlet due to cast illness, and gave a powerful, unforgettable performance. As a Media student, it was fascinating to see how theatre can use movement and visuals to tell stories in bold, cinematic ways.
