What a brilliant night at the Made in Manchester Awards ✨ I didn’t come away with the award, but just being nominated and then shortlisted is something I never would have imagined a few years ago. It still feels a bit surreal to have been in that room, surrounded by so many people doing meaningful work across our region. One of my favourite moments of the evening was bumping into a university course mate I hadn’t seen since uni… only for us both to be shortlisted for the same award, in a completely different city to where we studied. If anyone was going to win it, I’m genuinely glad it was her. Huge congratulations to Kellie Kellett - so well deserved. A great person, and the impact she’s has on those she mentors really speaks for itself. A big thank you to Rob and Nicci for coming along with me. It was a great night and really nice to share it together. And thank you to the wider Cornerstone Resources HR Consultancy team for all the support and encouragement along the way. It genuinely means a lot to be part of a team that champions and backs each other. Thank you as well to pro-manchester and future-pro for a fantastic event, and to Amy Brown for heading it up. It’s been great getting to know Amy over the past year, and she deserves huge recognition for the work that goes into an evening like this - especially all the parts behind the scenes that we don’t always get to see. A really memorable evening all round. #MIMA26
