Another energising day at NHS ConfedExpo, packed with insightful discussions and valuable connections. This morning, our UK Director of Strategic Access, Pricing and Operations, Nina Pinwill BSc (HONS) DIC MSc, joined Jacob Lant, John Chinegwundoh and Alison Tonge to discuss inconsistent access to innovative medicines, and what it will take to deliver more equitable, timely uptake across the UK. At lunchtime, Dr John Fleming and Professor Dame Sue Hill explored how the National Cancer Plan can translate advances in diagnostics, genomics and precision medicine into real-world patient benefit. A clear takeaway: embedding innovation across the pathway will depend on stronger NHS–industry partnerships, an ambition we’re proud to play a role in.
