Together with my colleague Maria Hamubi and German Sparkassenstiftung Southern Africa Regional Director, Markus Tacke, we had the pleasure of paying a courtesy call to the Bank of Zambia Acting Regional Director, Ms. Nancy Mwilwa, Assistant Director Mr. Musapenda Phiri and the wider management team at the Bank of Zambia Regional Office. The engagement provided a valuable platform to exchange views on financial inclusion, financial literacy and emerging developments within Zambia’s financial sector. We also had the unique opportunity to get an exclusive preview of the Bank of Zambia museum concept; an insightful journey through Zambia’s rich banking history, leadership legacy, and the evolution of technology, currency and central banking. Overall, it was a highly productive meeting and an enriching experience. We look forward to continued collaboration as we jointly advance the agenda of financial inclusion and sustainable business development.
