Looking back at the past decade, one experience stands out: building a German company's China subsidiary completely from scratch — and then running it independently for almost 10 years. There was no playbook. I handled everything from company registration and hiring the first team, to setting pricing strategy, managing suppliers, and running 50+ marketing events a year. But the part I valued most was being the trusted bridge between our German headquarters and the Chinese market — making sure two very different business cultures could understand and rely on each other. That experience taught me something I now look for in my next chapter: I want to keep doing this kind of work — helping European companies, especially German family businesses, find their footing in China, whether that's market entry, building a local team, or growing an existing presence. If this resonates with you, or you know a company exploring the Chinese market, I'd genuinely enjoy the conversation. #ChinaMarketEntry #GermanChineseBusiness #BusinessDevelopment
