It was such a pleasure to catch up with my dear friend, Jean Francois Baril (Janne) in Geneva this morning. From being my “Student” at HP in 1990, to heading the supply chain at Nokia and now chairman and CEO of HMD Global, Janne and I have shared a similar, yet different, journey through our career but somehow our values and messages have never changed. It’s all about relationships and doing what’s right. Having a passion for what you do, sharing your life experiences with the next generation, surrounding yourself with good people and leaving the world a better place than when you arrived here. Thank you, Janne, for sharing your unbelievable career and experiences with my daughter and son-in-law. May your tribe increase.
