Excited to share that our paper, “Autonomous Air–Ground Vehicle Operations Optimization in Hazardous Environments: A Multi-Armed Bandit Approach,” has been published in the AIAA Journal of Aerospace Information Systems (JAIS). We present an uncertainty-aware framework for coordinating UAV sensing and UGV cleaning operations in hazardous environments. By combining Bayesian learning with routing optimization, it improves hazard response efficiency and reduces the number of dispatch cycles needed for mitigation.
