The BeNeLuXA innovative pharmaceutical associations share an ambition for closer European co ordination to enhance accessibility and availability of new treatments. This is a time of geopolitical turmoil and for Europe to stand up for its citizens and one of its flagship industries. Covid Vaccine, GLP-1s and a host of cancer treatments all of their origins in Europe. But Europe is swiftly losing ground to the US and China. This requires a European approach that doesn't stop just where the Commission has competence. Coordination earns it place only if it gets medicines faster to patients.
