Wrapped up another triathlon today. Every time I do, I’m reminded why I keep coming back. It’s not just about the physical challenge. It’s the mental game that keeps me hooked, and it’s the same mindset I bring to work. Training for a triathlon teaches you how to juggle priorities (swim, bike, run), push through discomfort, and stay focused when things get hard. In HR and in business, it’s rarely one big sprint. It’s endurance. It’s moving forward even when it’s challenging. It’s managing transitions. And it’s trusting the process, knowing that consistency drives real results.
