🌞✈️ 𝗦𝗸𝘆𝗱𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿: 𝗟𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗮, 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗩𝗮𝗶𝗻. The loss of the Skydweller over the Gulf of Mexico in May/2026 is unfortunate, but "𝘞𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘈𝘪𝘳𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘧𝘵. 𝘕𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘈𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵". Derived from the Solar Impulse 2, this 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗨𝗔𝗩 features an ultra-lightweight composite aerostructure, a wingspan comparable to a commercial airliner (72m.), solar cells integrated across its wing surface, and a battery-powered energy storage system designed for multi-day endurance. ⚙️ After successfully exceeding its 7-day mission target, the aircraft 𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 🌩️𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝘄-𝘀𝘂𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 that 𝗲𝘅𝗵𝗮𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀.🔋 Importantly, reports indicate that the airframe and flight systems performed as designed.
