We spend a lot of energy trying to identify the decisions that will shape our future. We look for signals. We seek certainty. We wait until we're confident we've found the "right" path. But the more conversations I have, the less convinced I am that life works that way. Again and again, I've met people who only understood the significance of certain moments years later. A difficult conversation. Coming home. A rock-bottom moment. A small daily habit. Only later did they understand what those moments had set in motion. Perhaps we spend too much time trying to predict which moments will matter... ...and too little time recognizing that some of their meaning only becomes visible in hindsight.
