One of the things I look forward to most every year is London Fashion Week & of course the first Monday of May ... IYKYK People often ask why I have such a passion for fashion, and I think it goes back to my years as a classical ballet dancer 🩰 Ballet taught me that costume is never just clothing, every fabric, silhouette, texture and colour tells a story The costume becomes part of the performance, helping dancers embody a character and evoke emotion before they've even taken a step. That early appreciation for design is something I've carried with me ever since. Reading about Marks and Spencer making its London Fashion Week debut made me smile. It's another reminder that great design shouldn't be confined to luxury fashion houses. 👚 When heritage brands invest in creativity, craftsmanship and accessible design, they help make fashion something everyone can enjoy 🌳 Fashion has always been more than trends to me. It's creativity, storytelling, confidence and self-expression 💕 Whether it's on stage, on the runway or on the high street, thoughtful design has the power to inspire I can't wait to see what this year's Fashion Week brings Has your career or a childhood passion shaped the way you see an industry today? I'd love to hear your story. #LondonFashionWeek #Fashion #Design #Creativity #Retail #BrandStrategy #Storytelling #Innovation #M&S #Retailrecruitment #KPIRetail
