What a week for an ABB survey! Carter Probst and I were happy to catch a good number of the federally threatened beetle at a Nebraska Department of Transportation mitigation site. We also had a visit by a regal fritillary (proposed endangered) and met "Bob", a tricolored bat (also proposed for federal listing), in the Happy Jack Chalk Mine.
