Here's a closer look at some of the work from my Rookies 2026 submission. The project focuses on traditional concept art, including the design and development of a horror creature and a series of horse studies. The creature was developed around themes of grief, with the design shaped by the narrative and emotional ideas behind the concept as much as its physical form. The horse was an important anatomical study, providing an opportunity to explore structure, movement, and proportion while strengthening my understanding of form. Throughout the project, the work was developed with sculpting and 3D translation in mind.
